Support networks and community, built by neighbours.

FreeNation West Yorkshire is a grassroots, non-partisan community network. We help people look after one another across the Yorkshire region — practical mutual aid, local organising, and a place to belong.

“As we find ourselves in this world of oppression and tyranny, we are creating support networks and community across the Yorkshire region.”

Who we are

A community looking after its own.

FreeNation West Yorkshire brings neighbours together to solve everyday problems that no one should face alone. We believe strong communities are built locally — person to person, street by street, town by town. We organise peacefully, act lawfully, and welcome everyone who wants to help or needs a hand.

Care

Checking in on neighbours, sharing resources, and making sure people are not left isolated.

Connection

Meetups, groups and local events so people find friendship, support and a sense of belonging.

Capability

Skills, tools and knowledge shared freely, so the community grows more self-reliant together.
